Did you know that there was a Metal Gear Solid game on the Game Boy Color? And that it came out after Metal Gear Solid on the Playstation, and also isn't related to that one at all? Metal Gear: Ghost Babel, as it's known in Japan, is a beautiful blending of the old-school top-down Metal Gear titles from the MSX and NES era with the lessons learned from another decade of game development and the move to 3D worlds. I liken it to the Minish Cap of Metal Gear titles. Ridiculously impressive at the time, and 22 years later, too.
