Hi i'm Ness/Finn
I'm 21 years old
I do digital art, mostly fanart
i am also transgender!! nonbinary to be exact

most people who play video games have a favourite genre, like shooter, rpg, simulation etc, and i do too (it's rpgs), but I'm not talking about genre. I am talking about type of game, type of story, type of artstyle, type of music all rolled into one game. These types of games tend to effect other games we gravitate to in the future, the games that can make us try out a genre we're not even fond of, the ones that effect us more deeply, and the ones that effect us less. For example i don't really like the story, art style, music and gameplay of many war shooters, and even if their story is made to be 'sad' i'm not really gonna feel it, and thats okay. but.... on to my favourite type of game

my favourite type of games are the ones that make me cry, destroy me emotionally and physically, and the game is most of the time quite happy and easy going, and often these games have cuter more bright and friendly artstyle and music, the contrast of the themes that come up and the style of it is nice, especially if it's still kept within it's compounds, like it stays family friendly but still tackles the darker themes with maturity. and three games that i would put under this type are

  1. MOTHER 3
  2. Okamiden
  3. Paper Mario the Origami King

none of these games are exactly the same and thats why it's great, and i highly recommend them to everyone, and hey just because i crying during it doesn't me you will. i don't really have much more to say on this topic, i just wanted to rant about something more positive for once
