. also thanks for the offer, I may take you up on it at some point... I've just got crazy levels of social anxiety + I can't keep my base stations up all the time, so I have to set-up/pack away VR each time. So VR feels like a big barrier of entry to me @.@

also if the base stations can't stay up because tripods take up too much space and you can't drill, some friends have had great luck with cargo bars and camera mounts, they're designed not to leave marks so they work great for renting too!
these were the specifics that @Nikel uses, for example:
I had them drilled up on the walls in my old place, unfortunately, where I'm staying now we can't do anything with the walls ;w;
I'll look into these, but I'm not sure if they're going to work
Thus I have to deal with the pain of tripods for the time being, which I didn't expect to be as much of an issue as it's ended up being
