the oembed api, which has no authentication and no rate limit that i use for dumping the text of tweets into my irc client when someone sends me a link has started returning 404 but only to my server where my irc client is running
searching around for similar issues, maybe it'll get fixed on its own, maybe it won't, i'm not holding out hope
