does it matter all that much? i kinda get the feeling i would prefer keep the art account to be mostly the art itself, and have here be where i can share my thoughts, which may be how things go over the long run but i imagine there'll be plenty of posting and self-sharing

for now i'm pondering on just what i make and how much time i spend on it, i've been doing new daily drawings every single day since checks notes January 17th, 2021 and before that i was keeping myself to at minimum monthly drawing since checks again July 2018. why i picked up drawing right then is a story for another day.

but while i've improved a lot in that time and i'm very glad to have spent the time gaining a new creative outlet, i am well aware that spending only 30-60 minutes each day on something small just to 'count' isn't pushing me to be better. i have wonderfully supportive friends who offer advice and critique which is invaluable, and i think at the end of the day for me it'll all be about time management.

so i guess the thought in my mind is that maybe i'll let myself not have to make something wholly new every single day, and maybe allow myself to go back to a sketch i really liked and spend the day's worth of effort refining it and making it something better

(also the art account is @pinballswizard)

yeah that's kinda how i'm feeling, but at the same time using links to direct people to tagged posts on the art account are already better than directly viewing the art account history because of resharing doubling up pictures however many times i share it?

i'll probably mostly talk here, then reshare on there when i feel like it's not too obtrusive
