@AbsentWriterDoll

A doll and witch sitting by a fire.

And they reminisce on old passions of theirs. Games that they used to love to play, hobbies they used to partake in, but that their metaphorical fires have died.

Where did their fires go?

They simply... Vanished at some point. And left voids in their wake.

Pastimes that they used to care so much about - like drawing, playing the piano, even cross country running -

Where did that fire go?

Is it possible to find it again?

What if their current fires die as well?

What then, when they have nothing left to be passionate for?

They find comfort, company in each other.

Sitting by a fire, the two of them.

I am happy for them, because at least they have each other.
In some situations there isn't anybody else and all that remains are cold ashes where bonfires used to be.
