I like how you can draft posts in ways that mean you can come back to things; add more content; adjust and reshape.

It's interesting that, in addition to the quick-fire idea share, you can be calm - hitting 'post now' can wait, if you want. There is an opportunity to slowly oil the disused gears of that more considered approach - an approach that's considered because it's thoughtful, rather than considered because it's overwrought, overthought, phrases strained and reordered until clauses are so densely packed they need to be unpicked again like a necklace that got put in a pocket or drawer.

Of course, I write best in short, intense bursts (often directly before the deadline), so the string of where I left off is sometimes completely broken and impossible to pick up - leaving half-formed expressions with no great shape or conclusion.

But I'm looking forward to trying to develop a rhythm (here) on behalf of my own voice.
