WARS + PEACE + Real AI + Be Exceptional (int-based) has made this one hell of a game. And idek if Be Exceptional is compatible with WARS and PEACE, yet, and I'm several hours in 👀
My first attempt at reaching Diamond City was an incredible failure, made it past Lexington relatively fine, the raiders took potshots at me from atop Corvega, but evading them was no issue. I passed under the overpass and went around the outside of Cambridge, avoiding the ghouls, when I triggered a mine and crippled both my legs. Then, the ghouls came, I survived the onslaught, but had to limp my way forward, or back. At this point, I was already almost to Diamond City, so I pressed on, evading anything that might try to do me in, in Cambridge and across the bridge toward Fenway. Nearly got done in by a scripted event from Tales of the Commonwealth, but successfully evaded, then I reached the intersection upon which a corner of Fenway rests, where Diamond City security were battling it out with some muties. Security lost. A mutant came around the corner. Then, I lost too.
Second attempt I was a little more careful around Lexington. Made it to the overpass north of Cambridge when I found a legendary radscorpion tormenting some wild brahmin. I decided to leave them be and try to sneak around. Then the radscorpion got bored playing with the brahmin and found me.
So, I'm back at the Red Rocket south of Sanctuary, now.
