My parents are watching Lost right now—no clue why—and I've been kinda passively following it. Jesus christ what a convoluted show, a confused hodgepodge of ideas fused together with some decent characters and acting—other than the schizophrenia/fatphobia episode, which I saw a decent bit of and just fucking hated—for what I've seen. I've seen Family Guy cutaway gags done better than the myriad of flashbacks in this show. And the thing is I like weird shit—I like nonlinear stories, strange plots, and unconventional writing. Maybe it's an age thing, but god, the show just is not for me.
