went to a mall bookstore this afternoon and man there's nothing more depressing than the "Current Affairs" section of a bookstore now: a hundred books about how communism is destroying america by a bunch of different Intellectual Dark Web guys, and twelve books by mainstream liberals, half of which are novel-length campaign advertisements and the other half of which have subtitles like "An Abridged History Of How Republicans Went Crazy" and "How AI And Impact Investing Will Make The 21st Century An Epic Win"
