Buffalo Wild Wings: no option whatsoever. mildly acceptable because it's just a rewards program, but emailed support regardless.
Wizards of the Coast: no self-service email changing; only option is to contact support, which is apparently on the clock at 11:30pm on a sunday, so, sure, we guess
United States Postal Service: allows change of email address that, well, emails get delivered to, but that doesn't change the email address you log in with, which is a buck-wild decision in the year 2023.

Taco Bell: also no option. fakes you out on there being an option, which makes it worse than b-dubs. contacted them too.

UW1 Medicine MyChart: much like USPS, treats the email address as a handle; emails already go to the correct address, and some people have reported success by contacting support, but like.

WEBDEVS! STOP TREATING EMAIL ADDRESSES AS HANDLES!

Buffalo Wild Wings UPDATE: due to "backend maintenance" they can make a new account and transfer our points, apparently. better than nothing, i guess.

Subway and Little Caesars: No option. Subway states outright that it's "how we know who you are", which tells us that the email address entered at sign-up is the unique account identifier, which is SUCH A SECURITY RISK.

Cool. Coolcoolcool.

TomboyX: Contacted them to change it.

Buffalo Wild Wings Update UPDATE: They stopped replying to our emails so, if they don't respond to our followup by Wednesday, they're getting called.

Taco Bell NON-UPDATE: Never got a response to our support email so they're getting called.

LEGO: Lets you change the email address you're contacted with, but not the one you sign in with, and forces users to have some nonsense nickname that can't take user input, and can only be selected from a list of pre-generated ones. We're just going to "lose" that signin info.

Shake Shack: also can't change the login email. it's notable how many of these are food joints. do they not think they need to follow security best practices?

@pleonasticTautology

at present, we've changed everything we can off of our gmail. there are some things we have to change from one fastmail address to another, but that's a way shorter list.

Jersey Mike's: another load bearing email address

WHY DO SO MANY FOOD PLACES MAKE THE EMAIL ADDRESS LOAD-BEARING

WHO ARE THESE FUCKING DATABASE ENGINEERS

WHO TRAINED YOU? WHO WERE YOUR COLLEGE PROFESSORS??? WHO THE FUCK SAYS THIS IS BEST PRACTICES??????????????????

One More Multiverse: Does not seem to have any sort of account management page.

Buffalo Wild Wings Update Update Update: Called support last Friday and spoke with someone. Our old account has been "closed" but not deleted, so we can't create a new account because the phone number is still marked as in-use.

Alaska Airlines: Pretty sure we were able to change it ourselves last time, but now we have to call. That's on the list.

Jersey Mike's update: I can contact support to update it, and have.

My home mortgage folks also use the original email address as the username, and what's really annoying about that is that the friend who acted as my realtor in my home purchase provided my personal address, rather than my professional/"real-life" address, to the loan broker, so, that's great.

Also it's really annoying how many random emails I get from, like, airline mileage plans from airlines I haven't flown on in over a decade and they only have my deadname and there's nowhere to log into in order to fix it
