using twitter is still significantly less inertia for me (helped by using tweetbot on desktop) and i don't really have anything long-form to share yet, and when i do i'm probably just going to make a separate site for them, as i am wont to do?

Makes sense, I'm used to more "observe, boost others, possibly comment if it looks like I have something to add?" modes. (Hello from Garages chat!) So far this whole thing is me hoping to do more "put stuff out there" type interaction. First off, nobody seems to be talking about otters, so I put an otterpost out there. We'll see what comes second.
yeah, I feel that. I'm skimming stuff about once a day, which is still pleasant. it's probably a good thing that I don't feel compelled to think about posting here all the time........
