obviously i still can buy a very small percentage of music zhrough stuff like bandcamp and rarely zhrough a CD or zhe like, but beyond zhat... zhe avenues i can give an artist money in exchange for zheir music are sliiiiim
may we suggest: qobuz!
when you look at it, it seems like a streaming platform, and they do offer streaming, but you can also just. buy music outright. there are a lot of things we couldn't get on Bandcamp that we got on qobuz. we even bought some Kamen Rider theme songs there!
the prices are around what you'd pay for a CD, so it's more than the iTunes Store charges for an album, but also you can get it in a variety of lossless formats, and the files are yours.
