oh good to know, i'm starting it tonight and i had it on my SD card. though tbh the only time i've had issues with things running any differently on SD/internal storage was when my SD card was either off-brand or really, really big (i once bought an offbrand card and moved Pokemon Shield onto it and it immediately started chugging like CRAZY, the menu took a full 5 seconds to open and load the buttons lol). usually i just try to archive games i don't intend to boot up anytime soon and i don't have any issues
Yeah it’s not usually too big a problem, but I remember it was with Link’s Awakening so I looked it up - and yup, people said it works on this game too
Also wow that five second menu lag sounds like PAIN
I mean I didn't KEEP playing like that, it was what made me immediately realize I'd been duped into buying a piece of trash lol. I ordered a proper one and just made space on my internal storage in the meantime. it was pretty wild to see a game just falling apart on console like that tho (and then ScarVio came out and it's Actually Just Like That Regardless oops)
oh, huh. i'll try that! maybe that'll fix the performance issues on link's awakening too...
It does! That was what made me think to this time - it definitely improves Link’s Awakening. IIRC I read about it in Digital Foundry or something
oh sweet, thank you! yeah, we actually just got a way bigger microSD card because we ran out of space from the one we had, so we usually just huck everything on there.
