I guess, if anything just to make it very clear that it's not actually easy.
Take the post I made earlier today after the big post blew up. I could have tagged that, but did not want to for a few reasons.
-
I could have tagged it F1, formula 1, racing cars, whatever, but I often like to make posts and decline the extra discoverability. Also frankly modern F1 discourse sucks and I wish to stay very far away from it.

I could have tagged it something related to the artistry of it, but the only thing I know about photography and/or videopgraphy is that I do not know shit about it. And I don't think it would be any use for those two do to see some snapshot of a digitized VHS tape of a TV broadcast where the camera was a little overexposed, because I think it's pretty.

And, rightly or wrongly, I'm willing to make the bet that there's nothing in this picture that the typical person that follows me would rather not see. Thankfully the race in question was in a country that had banned cig advertisements, so it says "RUN FREE" instead of "LUCKIES" on the back. Would that have otherwise warranted a tag? I don't think I would have tagged it for that, unless someone had asked me to do so.
I'm sure I'm not the only one that really, REALLY overthinks any chost longer than a sentence or two, and getting too deep down "how should I tag this" can make it not worth the effort at all. But, again, it's important to think about when ya can.
And I learned some stuff through some of the rebugs and comments today, so it was absolutely worth getting notifs blown up. Very good day to do it since I can just turn off the like counter! Thanks staff.
This post is just tagged tag discourse in case someone doesn't wanna read it. :)
