I occasionally write long posts but you should assume I'm talking out of my ass until proved otherwise. I do like writing shit sometimes.

50/50 chance of suit pictures end up here or on the Art Directory account. Good luck.

Be 18+ or be gone you kids act fuckin' weird.

I tag all of my posts complaining about stuff #complaining, feel free to muffle that if you'd like a more positive cohost experience.

  • There's an open feature request/bug about notification dots showing even when the post has been silenced, so my option is to keep seeing every notification including on rebugs, turn off all notifications, or delete the original post
    • zero shade to anyone that deletes a post because of this, it kinda sucks
  • I will now put a higher quality bar on rebugs I make because you can't see who else has rebugged a post, and you don't want to be the 10th person to say the exact same thing (may still do this because not smart)
  • I am painfully aware that this post may cause the exact same problem if it gets rebugged by the right/wrong person
    • Actually I'll just turn off shares, ez

Anyway, good learning experience. I'm confident that site bugs will be fixed with time, and the only thing that would ever slow that down is getting real uppity about that on the website.

The second point is the most important one here really. "How likely am I to NOT be the first person to say this exact thing?"

I checked and I don't think locking shares prevents people from sharing posts already shared from yours, and that's the point mine was at, so there wasn't a lot that could be done. Most of the doots were coming from a rebug chain and likes on the (high quality, good, deserving) posts from there.

It wasn't something BAD that blew up, more a throwaway post still notifying me long after I stopped caring. Being able to properly silence notifications on it would be the correct solution imo, and again something that I'm sure WILL be fixed in time.
