and remembering being in the elevator line last year, in suit, and some person with a small cart walking by everyone saying something about "I'm going to be late to [thing]" and cutting all of us because they felt very self important that day. I wasn't the only suiter in that line either, but y'know fuck anyone that needs to cool off if you're in a hurry.
I really prefer waiting for an elevator to walking a mile (hi MFF) but FWA desperately needs people managing the elevators like the olden days. I'm slightly surprised the hotels don't offer someone to do this anymore, less surprised that the con doesn't have enough spare volunteers to do it. And just very, very disappointed that people won't behave on their own. To be fair, the elevators just aren't programmed well for handling big traffic either.
