I don't use spotify, I've never used spotify thank fuck. But I've also never really caught onto web radio for the most part, or other curated music services like that. At least not for music I've wanted to listen to in the past however many years. If I wanted to find stuff I like I had to dig, and I enjoy that process both in the doing and in the results.
If you want to enjoy cohost you go through looking at people's profiles when you see them in comments or notifications or show up in a tag you look up. Not because you wanna see if they're a Bad Person, but to see if they post stuff you like.
In both instances, I do not trust another person to show me what they think I like. I don't think anyone should, really.
