What fucks me up the most, having grown up with all kinds of wild electronic music, is when super common electronic music boxes are used for more traditional music.
Did you know Sexual Healing is basically built on the back of an 808? Or maybe it's a 909. It's for sure one of those drum machines and the WHOLE drum line is that shit. I didn't notice it until someone pointed it out.
