Funni posting aside, the 360 and PS4 are the worst consoles I've used.
The 360 feels like they were trying to do too much, too early, and literally just sold a broken thing for years and somehow got away with it. Even with the failures aside, it's just a really poor design. Any improvements hardware wise were offset by fucking up the OS. It's a damn shame so many good games are locked in that porta potty of a platform.
The PS4 was designed seeing how bad the 360 was and seeing that people were willing to live in a porta potty anyway. It's not as directly offensive but it cares more about itself than it does me. Thankfully, almost everything worth playing on it got ported off to somewhere better, unlike the 360.
To be a bit on balance, I ended up writing that entire post because of how much I love using the PSone. I love that little thing, even though my interaction with the console is very minimal (EDIT: This means I typically am too busy playing the game to like, be touching the console or in the bios menu). Most consoles are, at worst, just a bit quirky. The Dreamcast is kinda a mess but I wouldn't call it annoying (though I use an ODE). The best thing a console can do is add to the experience of loading a game (GameCube, PS2), but short of that most will just get out of the way, which is great. It's just supposed to play games, it's not the star of the show. The ones that try too hard to be the star of the show, or just get in the way of playing games, are the ones that really annoy me. On that whole list, the 360 and PS4 are the only BAD ones in that regard. Some others have very common hardware faults that also end up getting in the way, unfortunately.
Anyway I felt like explaining the joke today I guess.
