Dumb idea of the day: I'm thinking of efficient ways to keep warm at my "office"; the large shared room in my apartment. I mostly want to keep my feet and legs warm, those get cold even wearing programming socks and if my hands are cold I really need to heat the space I'm in.
Right now I use some combination of an oil radiator heater (500w?) and a radiant heater (300w) being switched on and off throughout the day.
Would a heated blanket on the floor work? I feel like that might keep my feet warm but may not radiate enough heat up for my leggies.
