I do computer stuff, more sysadmin than program but I can script and I can learn. I'm not 100% what I want to be doing anymore because my last two employment stints have been so garbage. I'm currently employed but feels like I'm only ever a few hours away from our entire department up and quitting at once and the stress isn't anywhere near worth it.
I really hate the traditional job hiring process. I want to have a very clear idea of what I'm getting into up front and that means knowing someone that works there. For better or worse I've proven to myself that even when given the opportunity, I'm not willing to sit around and do nothing to collect a paycheck and will instead chip away at whatever shit given to me to do, as long as I'm not pissing into the void.
EDITS: Also if it's not clear, I suck at and hate big upping myself. That's what I hate the most about job hunting. I want to know exactly what I'm doing up front because that's the only time I actually feel comfortable being confident about my own abilities. I know I can learn but I hate setting expectations even if I'm reasonably likely to meet them. I'm also avoiding details because I don't really just wanna put my whole ass resume on a page with my furry shit + kinda hate that tech bro career vibe anyway.
If you think some weirdo on cohost would be YOUR ideal employee, or even better just someone good enough to slot in, hit me up.
