I use heaps of ram in linux but that's because of.... tabs. And a few programs that aren't good about memory management. None of that is related to games.
it's such a good Device though imo. Bed Mode being the biggest feature but the rest are good too.
yes but. kickstand out, "portrait mode" but rotation locked to landscape (the illegal kickstand), detached controllers wherever your arms go on the bed laying on your side
what games even use 8 gigs in practice??? the last time I saw a game allocate more than 4 GB was Doom Eternal, then again I don't bother with nearly any AAA games…

I play stupid old games that use a few bytes laying around or whatever.
yeah if you aren't trying to play big power hungry titles from like 4 years ago onward it's great. a little bulky, but being able to remove the controllers and Just Have An 8" Tablet is really nice, especially with wireless mouse and folding keyboard
