Having grown up listening to all of the more album focused versions of early 90s dance music, then many years later going and really digging deep into the early rave scene stuff and fully understanding how all of that evolved... well I have an extreme appreciation for the scope and impact of what groups like Underworld and Orbital (and many many others) were doing.
I'm also starting to get old enough now that the scale of time is also something I can really wrap my head around. And the fact that a lot of the UK based stuff didn't even kick off until what, 88? 89? Turning around into what came out between 91 and 94 is just... unreal.
