Seriously considering how viable it would be to have one GPU that does gestures broadly GPU things and an old eyefinity card for actual output.

Probably not but, y'know.

I don't even need 6 display outputs I just need the ones I want to use to all be display port and not be juggling DVI connectors.

Sometimes I feel like a madman because I want a video connector standard that also carries power from the computer to the monitor because it sure would be nice to not need so many power outlets.

It's a more viable idea now with LED backlit displays and such, but also everyone is allergic to larger connectors and no one wants to be the one to charge and extra $20 for the AC to DC conversion.

I... don't want to think how much more expensive a GPU would be if it also had to carry power circuitry for 3+ monitors. Thankfully I'm also immune to stress caused by bad cabling. Cable messes make me feel like I'm in some cool 90s techno anime.
