It's really fucking me up that it's easier to find places to buy a song by looking up the song on youtube, going to an unofficial upload, and reading the description than it is to look the fucking song up in a search engine
I do not believe this is 100% unintentional. Hardly by design but it's a happy fucking side effect that's for sure.
Music uploaders cite their sources better than a lot of youtube does that's for sure!
