Netplay is limited by your ability to port forward, just like in the bad old days.
Annoyingly it will act like it works just fine, but you can't fully ready up in a lobby.
I'm tempted to roll a RCPN network locally so I can effectively LAN it
I occasionally write long posts but you should assume I'm talking out of my ass until proved otherwise. I do like writing shit sometimes.
50/50 chance of suit pictures end up here or on the Art Directory account. Good luck.
Be 18+ or be gone you kids act fuckin' weird.

I tag all of my posts complaining about stuff #complaining, feel free to muffle that if you'd like a more positive cohost experience.

stepz
download rpcs3 (works great on linux, appimage)
set up your controller, I used sdl and it autoconfiged my 360 pad
configuration
"dump" your "copy" of "daytona usa" (ask plum for tipz)
also your firmware same deal
you change a couple of settings in the config for game (gpu framelimit ps3 native, advanced config disable vertex cache, disable audio buffer (???? this helped))
also you turn on networking and set PSN status to "RPCN"
then you go to config > RPCN and it will let you make an account right there, you just need an email to send the verify code to (it will get caught by spam)
and in theory that's it, you start the game up and go to multiplayer and it should work?????
weird, i was able to get the daytona usa port along with sonic the fighters working on rcpn w/o port forwarding a while back, unless i just somehow had the right port forwarded unknowingly
If you have UPnP it should just be a checkbox. The person I was testing with last night had NAT issues and we never got it going.
SO WHEN ARE WE PLAYING THO
i gotta reinstall rpcs3 and get it set up again but i'd be down sometime!!!
