It's probably entirely BS, and Telegram is just straight up less secure.
I ask again: Where are we going after Telegram? We need to start setting up elsewhere, people need to start moving over. Discord is not a fully viable solution IMO, but it's a viable last resort.
If you don't like Signal, sure. Give me a better option. Whatever your gripes about Signal are, I don't think they're worse than tying your entire private messaging up in whatever Telegram is trying to become/already is but we've been ignoring.
