I think I want yt-dlp's "Fixing MPEG-TS in MP4 container" to be one of my real world storage benchmarks. It's a great real world test for "How well can I R/W IO this network storage device", especially on a 10G link.
I've been extremely impressed at how my NAS has handled it, I've seen short bursts (lucky cache hits probably) of 700-800MB/s on my 10Gbit link and it seems to go pretty dang fast overall, probably averaging 300MB or so. I find this very very good for a 12 wide RaidZ2 of mechanical disks.
I haven't looked yet but I'm hoping there's a way to tell yt-dlp to skip that step, so I can run it later.
