I occasionally write long posts but you should assume I'm talking out of my ass until proved otherwise. I do like writing shit sometimes.

50/50 chance of suit pictures end up here or on the Art Directory account. Good luck.

Be 18+ or be gone you kids act fuckin' weird.

I tag all of my posts complaining about stuff #complaining, feel free to muffle that if you'd like a more positive cohost experience.

Discord has disabled the original Trust & Safety board for some fucking reason, so now your only option is to go on their profile, click the three dots, and choose Report User Profile. Follow the steps from there.

They quite literally made it worse than it used to last year. I stopped going out of my way to report shit since then. Stuck in the uncomfortable position of needing this app but also hating the direction it's going.

ok so here's what irks me about how all of this works

"Report user profile" says pretty explicitly that you're only reporting the profile. And links you to a help page if the user's behavior is what you want to report. The "play my game" scam doesn't change the bio, so there's nothing to report.

It does link to this page

https://discord.com/safety/360044103651-reporting-abusive-behavior-to-discord

Which as you can see, only lets you report a particular message

And in the case of the game thing, they don't send you an executable. They link to a website, a website that looks fairly legitimate. And none of the message reporting functions explicitly say anything about "this is a malicious URL". Just "spam" or, if you go through a few submenus, "fraud".

Maybe it's just me but I think this sucks shit. Discord has a gigantic issue with accounts getting hacked and there's no clear "if you think this is a scam URL, use this" flag for reporting? Fuck off. Fuck entirely off.
