I occasionally write long posts but you should assume I'm talking out of my ass until proved otherwise. I do like writing shit sometimes.

50/50 chance of suit pictures end up here or on the Art Directory account. Good luck.

Be 18+ or be gone you kids act fuckin' weird.

I tag all of my posts complaining about stuff #complaining, feel free to muffle that if you'd like a more positive cohost experience.

One of the funniest things I've ever read was someone declaring that the PS1's graphics were bad because they were "not accurate". Stating that the system was flawed because Sony passed on giving it a floating point unit and went with the set of design choices that lead to the polygon jitter among other things.

It's super easy to say with hindsight and with what was done with later games but, even the early 94-95 stuff still looked fine. It was early 3d sure, but there's a huge gap between "Graphics accurate enough for consumer use" and like, "Graphics accurate enough for military flight simulator use" or whatever. Arguing otherwise is some weird 90s console war scrubwork, was astounding to hear that argument put forth, unironically, after the year 2010, much less 202X.

This is even funnier with the context that people in the mid 90s were so insane over 3D graphics that the most beautiful pixel art would get dumped on in favor of the jankiest 3D polygons imaginable.

Like, we could have had Sonic Mania in 1996. Instead we had Sonic 3D Blast and Sonic R, because even pretending to be 3D was better than high quality 2D. It wasn't until the GBA that people stopped being insane about 2D games again.
