hey, i'm also using nitter. or rather, i'm using slightly modified version of it. i've used for some time, but there few little things i wanted to change, so i did. i'm even hosting it on my Raspberry Pi 1 B+, which was a bit of a challenge to correctly compile (sadly, not cross-compile because of some issues, which mean i have to compile on the pi itself; it takes ~2h 🙀)

  • reversed threads on account timelines, so it's all in rev-chrono order (instead of A B [E-D-C] F, it's now A B [C-D-E] F)
  • added alt text with mouse popup
  • made "sensitive" images blurred until moused-over
  • added empty div at the end of page, so i can scroll last tweet on the page to (at least) vertical center of a page (like in some code editors where you can scroll last line to top of the window)
  • added "favorites" page, with list of accounts i often check
  • added "bird" link to all tweets, so it's easier to share
  • added my own color theme based on "witch hazel" syntax highlight
