I could temper my "haha fun time to dunk on microsoft and some shitty security vendor for bad practice" with "there's a lot of actual serious fucking problems happening because of the sheer scale of this outage" but frankly the latter part is really depressing to think about and there's also nothing I can do about it. Short of temp work going around entering bitlocker passwords into boxes far and wide.
Hopefully the scale of this will make people realize how fucking stupid a lot things had to be to make this happen. And why letting any single vendor have so much of the market is asking for trouble.
