ok time for a really rare uspol post
yall need to stop absolutely freaking the fuck out when stuff happens, because nothing that's happened in the past month has been a "omg our lives are 100% going to get worse in the coming 12 months because of this thing that just happened" event. I keep seeing people, here on this webbed site and elsewhere, taking serious psychic damage from every major headline and it just looks like almost self harm behavior.
maybe it's good, maybe it's bad, maybe I'm just so fucking emotionally detached from this (to avoid psychic damage) that I have no idea what's going on. who knows. but yall need to, as much as is reasonably possible, stop letting shit that's almost entirely outside your control beat you up, especially if you haven't been making use of the stuff that is within your control to do.
But anyway, like I said I don't get my head too deep in this shit because I like being functional. Take care of yourselves, be healthy. Save your energy for times and places when it's useful.
Go laugh at Crowdstrike or something.
