and I thought I was doing badly at this...
Edit: in fairness there's like another 800 that have been relegated to the crowdfunding hole by filters, that will never ever see the light of day
How does it not drive you all up the wall? I've gotta turn off as many notifications I can that aren't someone trying to directly get my attention.
Like, why does discord want to ding me every time someone posts something in a server? How do people function with multiple large servers like that? Why isn't muted the default? Telegram just straight up won't let you turn all the unread message counters off, but at least it's capable of actually letting you hop forward and backward in message history without completely falling over itself like someone tied it's shoestrings together and gave it a shove.
Looking at you, discord.
Do I just have a problem with having to habitually clear notifications? People do this with their phone notifications too and I just do not understand the workflow. I would like an understanding.
Obviously people function just fine this way, there's nothing wrong with it, I'm just curious how the daily operation works.
