Shout outs to that short period in the late 90s and early 2000s where a bunch of video game soundtracks were drum and bass, and then never again
Youtube keeps recommending me D&B and Jungle game ost mixes, and it makes me so wistful
Game soundtracks might not be cool enough to keep up but I'd like to put it out there that the modern "Jungle, D&B, and Hardcore" scene is very much alive and well and making great stuff that sounds more or less the same as the stuff of that era did.
Gods, if I wasn't so ADHD, I'd love to make a VN & try to give it an Armored Core-esque OST.
