Mhmm, generally agreed, as kind of frustrating as it can be sometimes
this is the* hci research area of personal interest: "what are ethical ways to help people discover what they want to see without falling into the recommender / engagement trap?"
(and then balancing this against overstimulation)
not a phd student though, so,
