exactly! they're demonstrating that their knowledge of biology is paper thin, and to be honest...that's probably usual for the kind of nerd who thinks of physics as the summa qua non of all science; poke them hard enough and they'll probably sneer at biology as a "soft science" that doesn't live up to the standards of "hard science" (i.e. something easily condensed into equations) ~Chara
