...rather makes me hope that by the time the Pnictogen Wing needs to worry about being good at computer programming, everything that currently exists (and is always being fought over) is simply dead and forgotten, rendered permanently obsolete by some completely out-of-left-field innovation that does away with the current computing landscape.
probably I won't get what I want and even thirty years from now people will still be forced to deal with, like, Linux and Windows 2099 and whatever else, because I swear to all the gods that there's hardly any field of human endeavour more stagnant than personal computing.
