The "no notifications" thing is what really makes it tough. Seems like a nice thing if you have more of a public presence (like for game developers and stuff), but because I know I'm not going to be notified, I'm kind of reluctant to ask as well
yeah. honestly there's a bit of unpleasant unspoken social baggage with online asks...it's tough for us to ask questions without feeling either like we're asking the too-obvious, or we're being nosy. it's easier not to bother. ~Chara
