you can see all the birch "root suckers" popping up from the ground. the original stump itself is in fact practically invisible now, its traces buried under the overgrowth of weeds.
when I moved in with Daria back in 2015 (I think it was), I wanted to make the yard beautiful. I felt it was my responsibility, and I failed at that responsibility, spectacularly. it's gotten away from all of us, and it's not like Daria or Gravis have the spare energy to worry about the yard. it was supposed to be my job, I think.
