I made a pumpkin pie for Hallowe'en and it was so disappointing somehow that now I want to make this instead, if I want a pumpkin dessert.

the pumpkin pie wasn't bad exactly, but...well there's certain pies that you make, and you have a slice, and you think "that's not bad", and then you don't want to eat more of it. apple pie just disappears, while pumpkin and pecan pies tend to be too heavy or cloying to want to eat too much of. maybe this lighter dessert will be more appealing

They also have a, I think it's a chocolate peanut butter cream pie or something like that? That is apparently a transcendental experience. I wouldn't know because it disappeared so quickly I didn't get a slice. But the people who did talk about it like they just joined a new religion.
