I should never try writing long pieces on my phone. one false tap and my work is gone forever, and I am left with the gnawing suspicion that I was wasting my time anyway. ~Chara

I'm still unbelievably pissed off about this. I was almost done.

and I know it's my fault—I shouldn't write anything important into a flipping web application, particularly the mobile version of a web application. if I really cared about the words, I'd have done something differently. heck I'd have written on a piece of paper first, with a pencil or a typewriter. THAT is what actually lasts in this world. typing stuff into a computer is just begging for it to disappear mid-composition because of one or two missed keystrokes or because a cat sat on a switch or something. and typing stuff into a mobile phone? it's a miracle it works at all.

I do love little notebooks, although getting our host to like writing in notebooks has been an uphill struggle—there's probably some deeply buried memory of having a diary spied on, or something of that sort—and we have a terrible habit of scattering everything. maybe we could get, like, twenty of them... ~Chara
