sulfur is my favorite flavor. i wanna try sulfurade sometime but food-grade sulfuric acid is only available in a concentration that i do not want around
I poked around myself and it seems you're right, at least based on a cursory search. I wouldn't mind having some concentrated H₂SO₄ around myself but whether we could use it safely is another question
