Apropos of nothing does anyone remember a goofy "Inspector Morse" story called "Masonic Mysteries"? My RL mother loved both reading and watching "Inspector Morse" and I got into him for a bit myself—I used to read some of my mom's detective fiction. Later I got to thinking that "Inspector Morse" was really kinda trashy. "Masonic Mysteries" was especially silly, but an excellent example (apart from the Star Wars franchise) of how Ian McDiarmid can completely shipwreck a production with his ham acting. It's not like he's bad exactly; it's more like he seems to have wandered in from another set by accident. ~Chara
