This drawing has a bit of a backstory:

So originally I wanted to experiment with my art style. I always wanted to draw something with heavy black outlines, a gritty look and very strong contrasts.

At first I drew this head, but I was never happy with the angle so I kept doing more and more (the ones above aren't all of them). At some point I just went "I guess I'm practicing head perspectives now. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ "
Then I wanted to go back to style experiments, but then I had the idea for my current avatar with the open mouth and I got sidetracked into mouth practice.
I'm probably going to find more things to use as practice. More complex shading would be a good one. ^^

...except not the way I was hoping for. Like I said, I wanted to use heavy black lines to get a gritty look, but that didn't work out at all. So instead I tried adding some high-contrast shadows along with my regular cel shading and that looks way more promising.
