actually, sorry, hang on: Can we talk about Data's kickass desk? With the big rim around the back so stuff doesn't fall off, and the nice routed-in relief panels? Look at the gradient between the upper and lower lips, right there in the center; that's a complex curve, that shit was hand carved. I wonder if it's painted wood or just foamcore. Either way our desks suck ass compared to Data's desk. We're losers

Data's private quarters are also a big lab, like i think every other set used for a private quarters is the same set with the chairs moved around but Data gets this huge open concept space with a shitload of computers. He has all this and a cat that can seemingly change sex since it gives birth to kittens later on
