I am a domestic abuse survivor and I've had a fairly rough road to recovery. I'm working on getting a stable job that can support me, but it's taking a while.
I have a £400 rent payment due on Tuesday. A family member of mine died in the US recently and I was given a small amount of inheritance and I was banking on that to save me in this situation, but due to some logistical issues out of my control, the money transfer has been delayed and I won't have what I need to make my rent reasonably on time.
