You know, I should watch some more Michelangelo Antonioni. I only ever saw Blow-Up and didn't really get it, but now that I've had a lot more experience of contemporary culture I can see what he was getting at. Antonioni really did seem to have a handle on the strange semi-existence led by people "in society", adrift, who experience moral crises as inconveniences, strange interruptions in their usual wanderings, inexplicable and easily forgotten. ~Chara
