I wonder why they chose to abbreviate Tuesday as T and Thursday as Th specifically. Maybe it’s just so it doesn’t read “W T F”
i was going to argue that WTF was more modern than this
but then i found a citation from usenet from the 80s so
in any case Th is the common abbreviation of Thursday
It bugs me that they bothered with 2 letters only for Thursday, and yet, Saturday and Sunday are both just S.
It would have looked just fine if they used H or U for Thursday and A for Saturday.

from some cursory research it looks like a bunch of colleges use R for Thursday and U for Sunday on their schedules, i found 8 different schools using that schema and none that disagreed
incidentally MIT appears to be using a scheduling system from the 80s and you can download the raw unstyled monospace print out in PDF form from it, there is no explanation but if you know that R is Thursday you can decode the day column
